We’re so excited to add Mike Baker to our Doodle Diner line up.
Mike infuses each of his illustrations with charm, wit and superb technique. It’s clear that his love for children’s illustration comes right from the heart! Welcome Mike!
To learn more about Doodle Diner, Mike Baker read his bio below!

Mike R. Baker has always loved art. His dreams of being a fine artist were put on hold when in the 1980′s he worked as a commercial artist for an advertising company. He lost interest and then worked as an ice cream man, a tool truck driver, Santa Claus (not the real one), a Renaissance Faire bar man, a tie salesman, and a puppeteer. He then got a job making web pages for the California State University. During that time he fell in love with illustration, especially for children. He made the decision to get back into art and started his illustration site and blog at http://www.mikerbaker.com. He’s been very happy ever since.
Mike lives in Long Beach, California with his wife, Kelly, a school teacher, and his daughter Jasmine, another aspiring artist.
